Prior to joining IBC, he was an intern at the Inter-American Dialogue with the Office of the President. He began his career in D.C. working at GFW Inc. for Washington Post columnist George Will, and he later worked as a research assistant with the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies at the National Defense University. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in International Politics and minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Georgetown University.
